Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our sweet Balto, known by his foster family as Hopper, was a very sick stray that had been attacked by a bigger dog. Sadly, we were unable to save his leg. Our boy is a tiny little fighter for life and a lover of people. Even in his worst pain, he loved to be held close. He is all healed up now, and ready for a forever home. He does not like to be touched around the area where his leg was amputated, and he will bite if he is scared. Hopper needs a strong leader that will be firm but patient.
He does not like male dogs at all, and only enjoys playing on occasion with female dogs slightly bigger than he is. He would be happiest as the only pet, since he prefers to have all the attention.
