YETI is everything you could ever want in a family dog. He is as outstanding as he is handsome. He is eager to greet all people, loves kids and seems to adore every dog he has ever met. He currently resides with an older chihuahua mix and a puppy Pyrenees. He gets along famously with both. It is impossible not to love him the instant you meet him. He is a wonderful companion who will happily join you for an afternoon nap or curl up on the sofa while you watch movies. He loves nothing more than to be right next to you with his head in your lap. He has an incredibly gentle demeanor and would be a great large dog for a family with children. He also loves an adventure and thoroughly enjoys the outdoors. YETI is fantastic on leash and mellow in the car. He is the ideal dog to take to children’s sporting events, on vacations, to dog parks or restaurant patios. He is calm in his crate when his foster family is not home and never chews on things that aren’t his. He truly is an awesome dog all around. His forever family will be so lucky to call this good-natured guy their own.

YETI is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after he is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
