My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ursula is an 8 year old Lhasa Apso. She was going d as a stray and in horrible shape. About 20 lbs overweight, heartworm positive, eye infection, horrible teeth and hair extremely long and matted as well as heart worm positive and infested with parasites.  We have had her In foster care and got her cleaned up, treated for all the ailments and vetted and in a diet and she has lost about 18 lbs now. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and preventions. Spayed and microchipped. We chose not to put her through heart worm treatment instead kept her on prevention and we nearly have her rid of heart worms. About 6 more months of prevention and she should test negative. She is house & crate trained. Good with dogs her size and cats Older calm kids would be the best environment for her. She is a sweet loving girl. She knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She is protective of her food and would need to be fed separately from other dogs but otherwise great with other dogs.
