Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ladies and Gents please meet the perfect little guy Stevie and his lovely floppy ears!! Stevie was found dumped on a busy road and searching high and low for his family. He was walking in and out of a very busy hwy and made his way to a wonderful couples home who took him in and kept him safe until we were able to pick him up. He has done wonderfully in his foster home with small and large dogs. Stevie has done great with their friendly cat and loves playing with him and also a rambunctious two year old child who loves to walk him around on his leash.
Stevie would make a great addition to a family who would like to love on him and make him part of their family. He loves to be around people and pets.. He is a very easy going guy who just wants to be loved and sunbath and cuddle up with his human. He is crate trained and has not had any accidents in the house. He is crated at night and if left alone during the day. Stevie is weighing in at a whopping 6.5 lbs of love and is estimated to be between 1.5-2yrs old.
He would do best in a home with a companion or someone to hangout with him during the day. Stevie must be leashed and supervised if outside and needs a yard that is fully enclosed & puppy proofed because he loves to explore his surroundings and will try to escape. Once he is settled in he "should" be fine but I would like for his new owners to exercise caution with him in an area where he is not supervised or out in a yard where there maybe potential spots in a fence where he can escape. When we first took him in he did escape under our gate twice. So it is very important that this is taken seriously for his safety.
If you would like to find out more about Stevie or schedule a time to meet him Please contact us at BarxDogRescue@gmail.com. Stevie comes with one month of free pet insurance in addition to a complete adoption packet.
