My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is a wonderful companion. She is happy snuggling on the couch and loves to go on long walks. She is very obedient and polite and is very healthy. She loves most people she meets but can be anxious in a crowd where there is a lot of activity and noise. She is sweet and inquisitive around people (kids and babies included) in a quiet setting. Stella for the most part loves and gets a long with other dogs, but can get aggressive when she meets certain dogs. We are not sure what it is that sets her off and she can be unpredictable so she should always be kept on a leash. When we pass other dogs on the street that seem to bother her, we ask her to sit and wait until the other dog passes, which she is willing to do. When other dogs are at her house, she is happy to share her space with them and is quite playful. She has been living with a six week old kitten and loves to follow her around licking and playing with her. Stella has not been as wonderful with cats that are not part of her immediate family and can not be trusted around neighborhood cats. Stella would make a wonderful companion for someone who has the time and patience to work with her. She would do best in a home with no children and no more than one other large dog.
