Meet Sylas!! Sylas is a beautiful, gentle, and even-tempered boy searching for his Fur-ever home! He is a beautiful blue (silver-colored) 3 year old boy who is laid-back and fantastic with kids of all ages. Sylas recently finished basic Obedience Class through the Oriole Dog Training Club and we think he could make a wonderful therapy dog as he really loves going to training classes, he is smart and he has such a wonderful temperament.
Although Sylas is not petite, as he is almost 85 pounds, he is a very gentle pup with a wonderful temperament. He is quiet and calm except for when its play time. When it is time to play... he loves fetch! His favorite things to fetch are tennis balls and he and he try to bring you as many tennis balls as he can fit in his mouth... Usually he does give up and stops at two, but he will try to fit more in when he can! Sometimes he also likes to explore the insides of them as well, but that makes fetch more fun for him. :) His other favorite activities include going on runs and hikes, and he loves car rides.
Sylas likes going on outings in the car anywhere, and when we say anywhere, we mean ANYWHERE...so much that even going to the vet is genuinely fun for him. Not only does he like to take a nap in the car, but he loves to explore-- parks, city outings, farmers markets, festivals. He just likes to hang out, be seen and politely soak up all the attention he gets everywhere he goes. Being crowded by young children is no problem-- he gently greets each one with a lick or two and calmly sits like he's being petted.
Around the house, he is generally laid back and is very good with furniture and pillows. And Sylas is a quiet guy-- he only barks when he is trying to communicate with you-- his two most frequent messages are "I'm done using the bathroom, so please let me in!" and "Lets PLAY!!!"
People frequently comment on his soft eyes. Combined with his handsome physique, soft and square jaw, and steel blue fur with white socks, it's easy to see why he gets so much attention, as he is truly a beautiful boy.
