Larry is an amazingly affectionate pup who is a big ball of love! If he could, he would just sit in your lap all day long and give you kisses. Larry was rescued from a local high kill shelter, as he won over the staff and his foster family with is wonderful temperament-- they knew that he deserved a chance and they felt they had to rescue him and help find him a home!! They were right and he has not disappointed them-- Larry loves people-- and perhaps would make a great therapy dog-- his fosters have taken him to the fire department to meet the local heroes and he was a star. And on trips to Starbucks, he was wonderful and greeted everyone!
Larry is about 4 years old Am Staff mix (we believe with some Lab) who knows basic training-- he walks beautifully on a leash, and who will sit and stay perfectly. He loves to go for car rides, but he also likes to go for runs and to play fetch -- if you will throw the ball for him he could play fetch for hours.
Larry is an awesome pup, he is neutered, and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations, crate-trained, and housebroken-- so he is ready today for his Fur-ever home! He also has tested negative for heartworm, and has had a dental cleaning.
If you would be interested in learning more about Larry and meeting him, he is a courtesy post! Please contact his foster parents at tamarakukla@yahoo.com or via cell at 703-597-5731.
**The pet listing system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality, not breed label.
