Hi! My name is Liberty, or as the volunteers like to call me Liberty Belle. I guess because they think I am a pretty girl and patriotic too!! An all-American girl if you know what I mean. The picture of me shows how wonderful and great my smile is, and how funny my pointy ears are when they are up. I am a sweet girl who is really laid back and calm-- so I make a GREAT couch companion and best friend! As you can also tell from the picture, I love people, and I am so happy to be around them!! I am super affectionate and loving-- you might even say I am a great kisser!! I have a cute little habit of cocking just one ear up when I see something new and am trying to figure things out-- which just makes the volunteers melt!! With how much I love people, I cannot understand why no one has taken me home yet, as I would love to find a forever home to call my own, and a family to love me.
A little bit more about me: They think I am about 5 year old, which makes me extra gentle and easy going. I like to go on walks and explore, but I don't treat it like a race and rush it... I think its fun to stop and smell, and really take my time and enjoy it. I came to join this rescue because I was seen wandering around Baltimore County with my 2 puppies. The rescuers who saw me did everything they could to trap us into safety-- they trapped me first, and then my pups. I lived out in the cold for a while before joining the rescue, and now I have been living in kennel for some time too....so I keep hoping to go into a home soon. With how much I love people, I keep hoping I will get noticed soon!
I can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you I come out of my shell and cannot stop showering you with kisses... I guess that is why I am one of the volunteers' favorites. I like explore new things too---going to the vet is great fun-- I get to smell new smells and explore, and meet great new people!
I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm/lyme negative. I love people, and want to be the center of attention, so I don't think I would be very good at sharing it with cats or other dogs. I have been around, and am great with older kids (10 years and above), and would love to have them as a new friend!! Will you be the one to give me a home I have been dreaming about for a long time?

**The pet listing system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality, not breed label.
