This cute little kitten--named Tux--was rescued from living outside, and when we found him, we knew he needed our help. Once we were able to finally able to trap him and bring him to the vet, they noted him to be underweight--under 3 pounds and limping, so we knew for sure that he would not be able to return to the outdoors. He has become quite a cuddly little kitten-- content to lay in your lap and purr, which is great as he was quite scared of us humans initially. Tux has been eating well and gaining weight and he is currently on antibiotics because it turns out that his leg joint is infected. Fortunately, we caught the infection in time that he will be okay, but he will always have a limp as the bones in the joint have been affected. But don't worry, this doesn't stop this cute little fluffy guy from being sweet and cuddly!! With his limp, it is twice as rewarding to care for him and love him!! If you are interested in fostering or adopting Tux please contact Adopt A Homeless Animal at aaha_rescue@yahoo.com.
Tux has been neutered, he has tested FeV and FeLV negative, and is finishing up a round of antibiotics. If for any chance he should require any additional veterinary care, Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue will cover these expenses.
Will you be the one to give a home where he doesn't have any more worries?
