Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zorro the stunning and easy going border collie x is up for adoption.
Take one guess why hes called zorro? Hes a striking, very sweet and amazingly smart border collie mix who is around 3-5 years old. He weighs around 65 pounds, is housetrained and crate trained, and barely sheds. In his current foster home hes used to using a doggie door and can be trusted going in and out. His crate is definetly his safe space that he likes to hang out in when not outside in the yard, taking walks which he loves, or asking his people for pets. And he sleeps in his crate at night. As mentioned he loves going for walks around the neighborhood and does well on his leash. He likes the company of other dogs in his foster home just fine who have been both little and his same size. There is a cat in his foster home also but they avoid one another. He likes to bark at folks passing by the fence that he sees thru openly and faces out to the active neighborhood greenbelt. But hes just saying hello. Hed do best in a home with children 8years amd oldee. Hes an easy going happy adult doggie who doesnt need more than a daily walk and lots of loyalty. He knows the commands to go in his kennel and sit. We are sure he could learn many more because hes truly so smart. He watches and reads everything very closely. This pup can be shy at first meeting someone new but then he bonds strong and is very loyal and truly likes meeting new people. Car rides are not his favorite but he gets a little better with positive experiences. Zorro would do best in a calm peaceful home that wants an easy going dog who will bond strong to his people. He just soaks up affection and will make a wonderful family pet. Hes currently in a foster home in a north austin suburb.
