This is terrific Teena, who wants her new family to know these 10 things about her:

1. I am an American Bulldog mix. I am about 2 years old and I weigh about 90lbs.

2. I am very sweet and affectionate, but I can be shy with strangers when I first meet them.

3. I think a home with kids older than 7 would be a good fit, as long as the children had experience/training with large breed dogs and weren’t too loud or rambunctious.

4. I’m not sure how I feel about felines. If my new family has kitties and is willing to teach me how to interact with them, I think we might be able to cohabitate peacefully.

5. Since I came to rescue, I haven’t spent much time in the company of smaller dogs, but I don’t think I would mind living in a house with one. My new family just needs to make sure we have a slow, proper introduction.

6. I have been friendly with the other dogs that I have met at the Bullpen, and I would like to find a home that had a larger, laid-back male dog to play with.

7. I enjoying being around people, riding in the car, and getting treats!

8. I don’t like it when you leave me alone outside, because I’m not sure that you’re coming back. My new family will need to continue working with me to build confidence and trust.

9. I am housebroken, crate-trained and good on a leash. I also know basic commands!

10. I am current on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and HW negative.
