Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Skye came from a coal mine in WV. We don’t know if she was born there or dumped after she and her siblings were born, but the people working at the mine fed them and looked after them as best as they could. Skye was found with two adult females one of which was her mom and three other puppies. It just so happened that an engineer who also happens to be a dog rescuer (ironically) had an appt at the mine due to it closing down. She was blue to rescue all six of them and reached out to rescues to place them. We were able to take all six of them, thanks to our dedicated foster families.
Skye is currently in a foster home with several other dogs and gets along with everyone! She’s a happy, intelligent girl and needs to be active and mentally stimulated. Skye is looking for a home with an active family and a fenced in yard. She will need a dog companion too. Skye is estimated to be about 6 months old. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, current on flea and tick and heartworm preventatives. Home visit and adoption donation required.
