Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is the most loyal and loving dog to those she knows and trusts. Her favorite activities involve sun bathing in the backyard and chasing squirrels. She is truly a dog that doesn’t require much to be happy- just a large outside space to play in, and a comfy bed inside to relax on. Abby is absolutely the best guard dog out there. A loud bark for those she doesn’t know, and a wagging tail for those she does.
- Fully house trained
- Non destructive (has never ruined anything in the home/ no chewing)
- Knows basic commands: sit, stay, down
- Very treat motivated (loves all goodies)
- Loves cuddling on the couch and belly rubs
Challenges
- Adult home only
- Has shown instances of fear aggression
- Struggles with on leash walking (chases cars, lunges and growls at strangers and other dogs if approach too closely, requires fairly strong person to walk her as she strongly pulls)
- Has lived in a home where she is the only pet
