My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bonzai - and yes, I look like camouflage. Plott Hounds usually get mistaken for other types of dogs - but I can tell you truthfully - I am all hound.

So - I have been with my foster family for 10 weeks now. We have had a lot of fun and I am learning so many things. Here is the most amazing thing - I know how to ring a bell when I want to go outside !!! I am so smart - at least that is what foster mom says.

I enjoy playing with all dogs - small ones not so much. Cats are big no no as I am prey driven - it is in my nature you know. I keep my nose to the ground and I follow the smell wherever it takes me. Dr Brian says I am healthy enough to move onto my next step of finding my forever home with the most amazing family.

My medical history is pretty much a short list - I had club front paws when I came to PPPR - they figured it out - it was due to lack of proper nutrition. I sometimes walk with a slap to the floor but everyone laughs now because I am probably never gonna change my ways.
