My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zana is a sweet little 1 1/2 year old female rescued from Mexico with a birth defect in her front legs. She weighs about 35 lbs. It does not affect her ability to walk, run or play but it is probably why she was cast out into the streets. Some local rescue friends have tried to find her a home, but the birth defect and her petite little head have made it difficult and they have had no success. Potential adopters come to see her and then don't take her because they say her feet are crooked and she looks like she has the wrong head on her body. :-( She is currently staying with a large group of other dogs, and she is not coping well. She craves human attention, and her emotional well-being is deteriorating. We need to get her out and into a home. She is very social, loves people, does with with other dogs and cats in a smaller setting.
