My story

Are you ready to meet Misfit Mutts first super senior?? Eleven year old Earl is ready to make his debut, and this little whipper snapper is sure to melt some hearts!

First and foremost we would like to thank Craig, Diane and the LeFebre family for sponsoring Earl’s “First Class Pass” 🚍 All of our senior dogs get what we call a “senior blood panel” done upon arrival. This will let us know if there are any underlying health issues going on so we can address them with the adopter before adoption. Other than a slight heart murmur, and some teeth being pulled Earl is good to go! This means the LeFebre family not only sponsored Earl’s transport to WI, but they also covered his senior vetting 🥰🐶

Earl is what Texas calls a “frequent flyer.” His previous owners would let him wander the streets, and as a result he kept getting picked up by animal control. His owners would then come pay the fee, and take him back home. Unfortunately, this last time they were not willing to pay, and instead just surrendered him to Pearland Shelter. Pet Tribe: Helping People Help Pets wasn’t going to let this little old man sit in a kennel for the rest of his days, so they got him hooked up with a “First Class Pass” to Wisconsin.

Earl is what you’d expect from any 11 year old dog. He loves naps, being cuddled, naps in the sun, food, more naps in your lap and then occasionally gets a playful burst of energy. He would do great with just about any family, although a quiet home would suit him best!
