Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here's the good, the bad and the ugly on this young pibble babe!
Good: Reba has a small structure 36#, 19" high, short, smooth tawny or caramel colored with white fur, no grooming needed. Petite paws means she'll stay small. Young, intelligent, active, high energy, Large sweet personality.
Kennel and house trained, Commands she knows are sit, stay, wait, down,up, off, leave it, Paw, other paw, Kennel up. We have a routine coming in from outside to immediately wipe paws that she's got down. Leash seldom used but great when we did.
She's very easily trained (learned all this and housebroke in 12 days using only positive (loves food!) reinforcement (except time outs)
Good with other dogs, has learned not to chase the cat, but needs more work. She is very high energy, but at the end of the day, will just cuddle in your lap for hours. She is very, very predictable ( I know when she's about to do something good or bad). She needs to go out 2 times per day, predictably 1 hour after each meal. Also will "get Busy" about every 3-4 hours if you take her out, but can hold it all day if needed.
She can calmly stay in her kennel even with activity going on around her. We leave her in her kennel when we enter the house for a few minutes and we leave her in her kennel each morning for over an hour doing our routine in the same room before letting her out. I rotate toys with her to keep her interested and not chew her toys up. Loves playing catch, great exercise.
She is AWESOME but needs a leader to keep her out of trouble and steer her to more appropriate actions. Will probably get calmer as she gets older.
The bad:
She sneaks her foster brother's dog toys, but we are working on that (substituting toys), plays rough with him but settles down after a time out if needed.
She needs reminders to leave the cat alone but will do so on command, affectionate but she "nibbles" too much in play so maybe not for under 3 years old although; assuming she's either a Rat or Jack Russell terrier mix which are great raised with children.
Reba is too curious to be left by herself with tempting things but will leave them alone with you around.
Slow to trust people at the door, barks as a warning and gets too excited but will calm down soon. The adopter will have to be able to spend time with her but will be greatly rewarded.
This dog's adoption fee is $250.
