My story

Pending Adoption - Rocky came to us from a family that didn't understand the type of exercise and maintenance this breed requires. He is an Australian Shepherd weighing in at about 30 lbs. Rocky does need to gain a few more pounds but other than that he is very healthy and well taken care of. Australian Shepherds require quite a bit of exercise because of the herding quality that is hard wired in them. Rocky is still somewhat timid around men but he is getting more comfortable with them every day. IACP Pro Master trainer and the staff at K9 Kindergarten work with Rocky everyday to improve his behavior. Another great thing about Rocky: HE SMILES & DANCES! Rocky is a very unique boy with one eye being hazel brown and the other eye being ice blue. Rocky is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. He does wonderfully at his vet visits but is still afraid to get in the car to go places. He just needs a little more exposure to this activity and we know he will learn to love it. Rocky's adoption fee is $500 to go towards the cost of daily care and all veterinary needs.
