Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is a courtesy post. Pet is located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Godiva, or better known with her friends as Diva, is now ready for adoption. She's is approximately 5 years old, spayed, female, fawn Boxer mix, UTD on all shots and vaccines. Diva was pulled from death row at the Tampa shelter.
Diva loves playing, and playing, and playing all day long. She'll throw a rope or ball, and play catch with herself. She loves peek-a-boo with covers, and of course- belly rubs are her favorite. Who couldn't love that face?
We believe she had a good life as a puppy because of her playfulness. We also believe she feel into the hands of some questionable people or situation too. She has scars on her back side and hind legs that indicate deep dog bites. Whatever happened, Godiva has not allowed that to darken her spirit. She is a happy, loving, full of herself character.
Diva gets along with other dog, cats and children, but doesn't know her own size, so she is a bit awkward on her feet. As always with rescue dogs, I recommend introductions to family members and other family pets be taken slow, and one at a time. Also, I would recommend older children for Godiva because she IS unaware of her size.
She is a talker but not a barker, loves people and wants to be part of the family in everything they do. Diva acts like a big baby, and it's time this baby have her forever home. Godiva is located in Virginia Beach, VA. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Godiva, or just have questions, please reach out. Thank you
