My story

Weight/Size: Rusty will be medium/large when fully grown.

Rusty is a precious, loving boy. He can be a little wary and shy at first, but once he gets to know you he is a complete love muffin! He is growing in confidence each day. His coat is gorgeous and wavy.

We can only guess what breeds are in him, but he is 100% All American Adorable.

Rusty so far is showing that he can live in a home with other dogs, cats, and children. He loves to play! He has shown some food aggression, which he is learning to overcome, but for this reason we would prefer not to place him in a home with small children.

Rusty is taking applications. We would love to find a foster-to-adopt home for him.

We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC.
