Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Freddie is a current resident who is up for adoption at St. Thomas City Animal Services.
Freddie was found by a nice person during some pretty cold weather and our officer rushed to help him. Freddie was rushed to the vets with a very badly injured foot, some cuts a bumps and a frozen body. After some time, treatment and love, Freddie has bounced back and is ready for a fresh start.
Freddie has been a character and shows us his spunky side every day. In the morning he knows that he gets to go out and explore the playroom, so as soon as his kennel door is opened he darts to the playroom to check things out. He looks out the window, plays with toys and his favorite is snuggling up on our laps. Once his time is done he runs back to his kennel for his breakfast and shortly after a well deserved nap. In the afternoon when he is awake and ready for some more attention he will knock around the door just to make sure we are aware he’s up! Freddie is quite the character and we absolutely adore him. Freddie is going to require a special home however, during his time at the vets we had his checked for FIV and he came back positive. Freddie will require a home with no other cats or a home with cats that already have FIV. This does not affect Freddie at all and he is very healthy, we do recommend talking to your vet about this to get more information. We are positive that Freddie will bring love to any families hearts as he is such a special guy.
If you have any questions about Freddie please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to help answer them.
Freddie has had a Neuter, Flea treatment, Worming, FIV test (Positive), Surgery on front foot.
All of our animals have a health check from a certified Vet.
