Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Van and his siblings were born in the woods of rural Missouri. Mom and Dad were taking care of the pups when dad was hit by a car, leaving mom alone to care for her babies and herself alone. Thank goodness, the little family was found and brought to rescue. We did DNA test the pups and, as presumed, Dad was a full breed lab but mom's origins are more mysterious and came back lab, American Staffordshire and 'mixed breed'. We really wonder about the "mixed breed" part because, like his mom, Van has short legs. He looks a little dachshund-ish to me. We put their date of birth at approximately November 18, 2018. We think that Van's adult weight will be in the vicinity of 20 to 25 pounds. As for personality, his foster mom says that Van a happy boy, is not shy and is very brave. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, on heartworm/flea preventive, well wormed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $295 with all first year vet work done. All of these puppies are using the doggie door reliably.
