FINN (TENNESSEE)
Finn is a 6.4 pound, 7-year-old (estimated) Yorkie boy. Finn is being fostered in Murfreesboro, TN.
Finn is one of 700 dogs rescued from a South Georgia Puppy Mill. You’ve heard enough about THAT place and Finn is ready to put all of those terrible memories behind him and find his forever home. Finn is now at a healthy weight, is up to date on all of his care and is making good progress in his foster home and loving all the new found freedoms he now enjoys. He especially loves “treats” and has also figured out where they are kept! Finn is a smart boy and has learned lots of new skills in his foster home. He walks well on a leash and loves the feel of grass on his paws. Like most all mill dogs, Finn may cower when approached but once in your arms he just melts and loves to be held, cuddled and loved. The biggest remaining hurdle for Finn is house-training and while progress has been made, he still struggles with this. Some days, he does well and others not so well. In the meantime, Finn wears a belly band to help with “accidents.” Anyone who applies to adopt Finn needs to understand that he will need lots of patience and consistency to help him continue to learn. On a positive note, he “wants” to please very much and loves to get treats for rewards so he is easily motivated. Finn is a sweet, gentle soul who is very deserving of an amazing home where his humans can love away all the bad stuff in his past and ensure the rest of his days are full of only love.
