COURTESY POST: PLEASE CONTACT BRANDON AT brandon@bcdi-tech.com FOR INFORMATION ON SHASTA.
Hi! I'm Shasta. I'm an eight-year-old chocolate lab and I love everybody! I loved my daddy the most, but he passed away from cancer in December last year. I'd lived with him since I was just a puppy. I'm currently on a diet and am on track to obtaining my bikini body by swimsuit season. I am up to date on my veterinary care thanks to my foster family and special friends at Bargersville Veterinary Hospital.
I love many things ... eating, belly rubs and butt scratches, playing fetch, but I mostly love you. I bark twice when it's time to let me in, but I'm otherwise quiet and polite.
I'm good with other dogs and kitties. I'm gentle with babies and children, though sometimes, when I get really excited to see you, I jump a little. I'm in training and my foster family says they'd be willing to sponsoring training to ensure that I remain well behaved in my forever home.
I am very well house trained. I am not crate trained, as I have never spent an hour of my life in a crate. When I lived with my dad, I ran 11 acres of land with no fences, but now that I'm in the city, I prefer a fenced yard -- I think that's better for me.
Reaction to people: kisses and hugs always
Spayed
Color: brown with salt and pepper beard
Activity level: moderately active with short bursts of excitement
May need some training
