Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sam is a 10 year old purebred yellow lab. He found himself lost and at animal control; unfortunately, he also had heartworms, intestinal worms, a UTI and was rather underweight. This didn’t make him a likely candidate for adoption so he was taken in as a foster so he could be given some time and TLC in order to get him back to health and complete his heartworm treatment. After several months, he is now a healthy, happy, playful guy. Sam gets along with everyone, because of his past it may take a little while for him to warm up and trust people
He walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks and car rides! He gets along with other dogs and actually plays very well with the puppy in his foster home. He gets along with kids and is quite tolerant of their shenanigans; however, he is an older guy and doesn’t need rough housing. He is quite attached to his foster mom and follows her everywhere, if you are looking for a Velcro dog he is your man! Sam also lives with a cat, he’s really all around great guy! Please email for more information or an application.
Sweet Sam is current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped,
