My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“Shadow,” a black DSH female, was born approximately January 2018, and was found as a stray. She was initially taken in by Good Samaritan but was relinquished to ASL when he had to move. She has been vaccinated, spayed, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. “Shadow” was not a happy camper when she first arrived. She was not social with people and in fact was down right one angry kitty. Fortunately, she’s not that way anymore, although she is still a little shy. Patience has paid off. We just waited for her to decide she was safe now.

“Shadow” was about 8 months old when she arrived, and we can only surmise that someone was very mean to her as a kitten. She’s going to require patience to let her settle in on her own time, but we know that patience will be rewarded. We hope someone will give her the opportunity to be the best kitty she can be.
