Loki currently being fostered in Antioch

Meet Loki 

A courageous, blind, almost 3 year old Sheltie/Pyranean Shepherd mix , who has had his share of truly bad times. With ears cut, tail broken, and infected eyes at the time, an angel spotted him and immediately jumped into action. After a thorough vet visit, including all vaccinations and neuter, Loki was determined blind, but his eye sockets were healthy so removal of his eyes was not necessary

Loki was showcased at this year's Bay Area Pet Adoption Event and we received several applications.  We met with a wonderful couple from Glen Ellen who adopted him. Unfortunately, 3 weeks after he moved and settled in to his forever home, the North Bay Fires took away their home. The family is going through a rough time rebuilding, and we all felt Loki is not feeling secure with all the moving around... so his original foster family gladly took him back and he is currently being fostered in Antioch, and looking for a new family to call his own.  

He loves the companionship of other dogs and is finally experiencing the joy of rough housing with his foster siblings. He is so patient and loving towards any one who comes up to him to pet him.  He likes going out on walks and finally got hang of being held by leash. 

Lokii is a beautiful spirit who, at no fault of his own, experienced some horrific times. But here at One Planet Rescue,  we believe Loki  is here to experience unconditional love and inspire us to be better human beings .
