My story

Toby is a 2 year old, 6 lb. Yorkie that came to us underweight and scared as an owner surrender. He is up to date on all vetting/shots and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. He gets along with other dogs but is shy at first and needs time to warm up to people. He knows his basic commands and is crate trained.

Toby has some dental issues and his teeth will need regular brushing and monitoring to prevent tooth decay and loss. He also has loose knee caps so he may have issues as he gets older. A good glucosamine supplement is recommended for him on a daily basis. Since he is shy with people, he needs a patient owner who will not yell at him and allow him to learn his environment at his own pace.

Our adoption process includes verification of submitted information, in-person meet and greet with the animal and the applicant's other pets (if applicable), and mandatory home check.
