Meet Kobe!!
This little guy is really just an angel in disguise! He was found wandering the streets of Bakersfield. He was soooo matted it was impossible to get a comb or our dog grooming buzzers through his coat so we took him to our groomer who had to shave him down. He feels so much better and as you see from the photos his fur is white but was yellow from the months and months of neglect. When it does grow it he is going to have the softest most luxurious coat!
Kobe appears to be a mix of toy Poodle and Maltese making him a Maltipoo which is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. He weighs about 7 to 8 pounds and judging by his energy and teeth would say he is about 2 1/2 to 3 years old.
In rescue he is with large dogs and small and LOVES everyone! He loves to play and he is very cuddly and kissy so be prepared for lots of kisses on the face! He also quite enjoys doing dances on his back legs only for you and has this great game where he chases his tail, catches it and then growls at it! He is a real riot with tons of personality!
His adoption fee includes his professional grooming, neuter, all vaccinations including rabies, microchip, deworming, collar, leash, starter food and bed. An adoption fee does apply.
As we pre-screen via email only please tell us about you. Such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home, where your pet stays when you are out or at work and where your pet will sleep. Please also let us know a little about your previous dog experience and if you have ever given a dog away.

Please also note that Maltipoos do require grooming about ever 6 weeks to prevent them from ever becoming matted.
