My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barclay has been at the shelter since the end of January when his elderly owner passed away. He's a pretty easy keeper, extremely well housebroken and happy to snooze on his bed when there isn't something more fun going on. Barclay walks easily on the leash and has little interest in running off. We think his hearing isn't what it used to be, and so he wouldn't be a great match for small children or bouncy dogs who might startle him. He has found some dog friends at the shelter and even got quite playful with a young chihuahua!. He isn't a big fan of cats, but he would sure make someone a good little companion. Barclay is about 8 years old and other than some benign fatty tumors and some extra poundage, he's in pretty good health!
