Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Abby thinks she is a puppy! No one told her that she is 11 years old, with just three teeth left. She loves to play fetch, and when I say LOVE, I mean she LOVES playing fetch. She has prized little stuffed animals that she takes with her everywhere and will nudge towards you on the floor so you throw it for her - she would do this for hours if she could. Her brother Tucker watches quietly from the sidelines. Another favorite game is for her to "bury" her toy in blankets and watch and wait for you to find them and throw for her, so another game of fetch can begin!
She is so full of life and energy, and she is absolutely adorable. When she buries her toys in blankets, she will create a little static electricity and the fur on her apricot ears will stick straight up with the static electricity. Her adorable face just melts your heart.
Tyson's Place Animal Rescue helps terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets. Abby and her brother Tucker came to us after their owner passed away. His family reached out to us for assistance in finding them a new home.
Abby and her brother are housebroken, walk well on leash, and have lived with cats and dogs big and small. They have also lived with older children and would do well with kids who are gentle with them, due to their petite size and older age.
Both dogs are fixed, current on vaccinations, blood work, had dental cleanings, and are microchipped. If you are interested, you can fill out an application at tysonsplacerescue.org or email tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com
