Get ready for some Sugar! 🐕 This beautiful Akita mix is sweet as pie and ready for a home of her own! 🏡

Her story isn’t a whole lot different from her rescue buddies, as she was found wandering the streets of Texas in horrible condition. Now that Sugar is finally healthy again she is being reintroduced to the world. Sugar is about four years old and although we don’t know how much of that time was spent living on the streets, whatever past she has endured has slightly affected her confidence. She will thrive in a home that can give her structure and routine. Until she builds her confidence up we recommend she be an only dog as she’s still trying to find her place in the world. She is extremely smart and catches onto training right away. She’s the type of dog that enjoys a job because she loves to think and learn. She is fully potty trained and loves going on walks more than anything! Even though she is four years old, it’s as if she’s seeing the world for the first time through puppy dog eyes. She has met with our trainer about anxiety and the trainer strongly believes that a little stimulus is all Sugar needs to take the edge off. She loves our Wisconsin weather and hopes she can go on lots of outdoor adventures with you! Sugar lives up to her name and is just a big fluffball of love. She can’t wait to spend the rest of her life in a home of her own! 🐾
