Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Old Man Snoopy but foster mom just calls me Snoopy or Snoopers. I don’t mind as long as she doesn’t call me late for dinner! Heehee! That joke was definitely written by a beagle!
My owner wasn’t able to keep me due to no fault of my own so the nice folks at Midwest BREW took me in and are helping me find my forever home. So, I should probably start by dealing with the "elephant in the room". I am absolutely, positively, incredibly ADORABLE!!! There! I said it! I know we were all thinking it so now it's out in the open. Whew! But, there's so much more to me than just my handsome looks.
I'm a sweet and gentle boy who likes to cuddle up next to you and get pats and loves and hugs and kisses. I even give sweet little kisses back. My kisses are wonderful - affectionate and with just the right amount of slobber. I enjoy being fussed over by foster mom - having my belly rubbed and being snuggled. I even like it when she calls me silly names like Snuggly Buggly or ShnooglyBoogly. I always give her a sweet look and wag my tail even though she sometimes calls me these ridiculous names in public - in front of other dogs! It's embarrassing but I take it like the macho guy that I am.
I am completely house-broken and I've earned the privilege of having run of the house when foster mom has to go somewhere. I like to go for walks and car rides and I’ve yet to meet a person I haven’t liked! I even gave loves and kisses to the vet! I get along really well with the other four beagles in my foster home and it would really help my confidence to have another dog in my forever home to show me the ropes.
I do get easily excited and when I’m excited, I make the sweetest little woooos you ever have heard! Even though I’m well behaved, I do get lonesome when left alone so I’d do best with a family where someone is home either all day or part days. Overall, there are a lot of things to love about me.
If you’d like to make my tail wag like crazy by giving me my forever home, just ask for Old Man Snoopy!
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
