My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!***? WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet.
Jju 14.6 lbs, female possibly a lJindo mix, 5.5 months old, just spayed up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, dewormed.

The oh so stinking adorable & lovely Jju & her sweet & affectionate sister & 1 other little friend have the most awful & deadly start to life in Changwon Korea in an extremely over crowded shelter where the smell of death is in the air constantly & the fear because puppies & dogs are put to sleep weekly just for space alone. These precious little souls needed out of that shelter badly so we wanted to help change their lives & give them a life to live.

Jju was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue along with her sweet little sister & another little lady at the same time & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank you enough.

Jju was bought back to the USA along with her sister & another little girl from the same horrible kill shelter & all 3 of them are now US citizens. Straight away we could see Jju was thin & she really needed to put on weight which her foster mum in CA had been working on, but my oh my has this little lady quickly adjusted to having all the food & treats she wants.
This little lady loves her sister but she also takes everything in & now in WA & ready for her new loving forever home with another dog in it.

The beauty of Jju will melt your heart, the way she takes the world in around her.
Jju’s foster mum said she is the mastermind behind the girls, she gets Bebe to play with her & wrestle & have the time of their lives. But she also enjoys going to take her me time & go do her own thing when she choses so, but not that her sister is having it.
Jju needs little attention & she waits to see if you are good person by the way Bebe likes you before approaching you. Jju also loves, loves her toys & thoroughly enjoyed her toys in CA in her foster home there also. This little lady gets so excited when it’s treat time, she will jump as high as she can with those short little legs to get a treat when that word is mentioned & of course just like her sister adores eating as in Korea that’s not something they got to do a lot of.
We are trying to teach the girls to walk on a harness & leash but this will take time & patience.
Jju is quite fond of a great outfit as you can see from her pictures & just wants to be loved as she should be along with her sister.

Jju has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings so she must go to a forever home with other dogs.

Jju is roughly 14.6 lbs & 5.5 months old & maybe a Jindo mix & still needs to put on a little bit of weight, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative & dewormed.

Jju has been around cats since being in the rescue & could care less but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children with our rescues.
Unfortunately Jju’s adoption fee does not cover the costs we have paid to rescue this sweet angel.

We do not know for sure what breed Jju is mixed with & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.

As with all of our rescues & Jju’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Jju potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
Also please do not contact us asking to adopt one of the girls without the other, we will not respond.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Jju along with Bebe & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Jju who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little lady.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

Jju has an adoption fee of $765 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.?As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. ?Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding.?WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.?Adoption Process ?All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
