The first step in adoption is to complete an application which can be found on our website. We will not answer any inquires regarding this Dane.

Sugar Belle is child-friendly but needs a home with kids over age 8 as she is a bit clumsy and hops like a rabbit when excited. A yard with a full privacy fence would be ideal since she is a jumper. She is Dane friendly and loves to cuddle. She can have an occasional accident in the house if you make her wait to go potty after playing, eating or waking-up.
She loves her crate, but she should not be kept in there all night, then all day so someone who has the ability to be home more often than not is preferred. She is still learning boundaries so no unsupervised roaming of the home...typical puppy behavior.
She cowers when you yell so she would not do well with aggressive or dominant personalities. She is very smart and learns quickly so positive reinforcement-style training is a must. She knows sit, wait, on your bed, down/here Leave It, stay, come and release. She has good leash manners and performs better with a harness over the collar.
