My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar was picked up roaming at large and although her owner made a claim for her she never followed through with picking her up. Sugar was then vetted and tested low positive for heartworm. She is very well mannered and gets along with both males and females, large and small. She isn't hyper but can be active. She's a gorgeous girl and if an adopter is interested in heartworm treatment our shelter does offer it at cost which is around $230.00 Dog adoption is 100.00 and includes spay/neuter, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccines including a 3 year rabies, health exam, deworming, and microchipping. Any animal 6 months or older is considered an adult. Call 985.651.7387 for more information regarding adoption.
