Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut was an owner surrender to our shelter a few weeks ago. We were told he was 9 months old at the time and unfortunately due to his owner not keeping him on heartworm prevention he tested low positive for heartworm. This is easily treatable, but sometimes a deterrent for adopters. Peanut can still play and be active, he just needs certain heartworm prevention monthly or treatment which is offered at cost through our shelter for adopters. Please give us a call if you have questions about Peanut and heartworm treatment. He is a great dog and not at all nippy or nervous. He takes everything in stride and loves everyone he meets! Puppy adoption includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, brief health exam, and microchip. Adoption fee for puppies is 100.00. No animals are vetted until they have been adopted. They must be spayed/neutered prior to leaving the shelter to go to their new home. For questions please call 985-651-7387
