My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Blue came to our shelter when his family decided they no longer wanted pets. The family had never taken Blue to a vet- EVER. He was very sick when he arrived at HHR- needing surgery for a urinary blockage. Thankfully, the blockage was caused by a serious urinary tract infection (not urinary crystals like most blockages) and Blue made a full recovery. Because Blue's blockage was NOT caused by crystals, he will not require a special diet. However, he should eat a primarily canned food diet to ensure he gets enough fluid to prevent future infections.

Blue is about 3-4 years old. He grew up with a medium sized dog, children, and other cats. He would be a great family kitty for a quieter home. Blue is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, feline leukemia/AIDS negative, and is current on flea/tick preventative.
