My name is Daisy & I arrived in SLC on 3/15 & am looking for my furever home!!
I was rescued from the streets of Dorado in August 2018 after someone picked me up but dumped me back on the streets the same day after the vet they took me to didn't have space to hold me. Thankfully another person came along that was responsible & worked to find a good place for me to go, but I hadn't had a chance to leave the island until March! I've been in boarding & am so excited & SO ready to meet my new family in Utah!!
I know I look like a cow, but I think I am actually a Bull Terrier X Lab mix about 5/6 years old, 70 lbs., spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped :-)
I am great with other dogs & have been doing fantastic playing with males + females of all sizes & ages at daycare where I am being fostered in SLC. I am also good with older kids (6+ yrs), cats unknown. If there is another dog(s) in your home, they will need to be playful because I LOVE to play but also know when it's time to stop & be receptive & respectful to my cues (which I am very good & respectful at giving myself). I will also do fantastic being the only dog in the home as I love my alone time, getting belly rubs & playing with my tennis balls!!
Nobody is really sure of my history prior to being rescued from the streets so I may need some potty training in the home & help with manners but I'm a very good girl, eager to learn & love. I love tennis balls & going for walks but I am a very strong girl & will need someone that can handle me properly on a leash (I am learning some skills at daycare & picking them up quickly, though!). I am spunky, spry, sweet as can be & excited for this new chapter of my life & ready for a family to show me what love means..
