KwanWoo 11.2 lbs, male, possibly a schnauzer/poodle mix, 7.5 months old neutered up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, dewormed.
Unfortunately the madness & cruelty never ends & here is KwanWoo’s beginning in life as you will read it’s just not fair nor right.
KwanWoo along with 7 other sweet souls were abandoned by a factory in Korea by a factory worker who left the country to go home back to his own country & just left these sweet angels to fend & survive by themselves. Obviously they had no way to do that & thank goodness they were found & taken to a shelter where the amazing rescue went & rescued them & asked could we help & we are happy to help this little man have the life he deserves.
KwanWoo was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & as always we are beyond grateful to them for everything they do day in & day our rescuing these beautiful sweet souls.
KwanWoo was bought back to the USA where he is proudly a US citizen looking for someone to love him & never abandon him again.
Look at this adorable little man his foster mum says he oh so playful now with the other dogs but as you can imagine when we first got him he had no idea what a normal life was so he was very reserved & unsure of his surroundings but now his little personality is starting to shine through. KwanWoo now gives his foster mum kisses & kisses his foster siblings so it’s mandatory he go to a home with other little dog friends who. This little man has now discovered what toys are so of course he loves toys now & is so smart & such a quick learner. KwanWoo has been learning to walk with a harness & leash & is doing well but will need some time & understanding here along with patience. He sleeps all the way through the night as we are sure he is making up for all those cold & hungry nights outside & this little man really does enjoy eating & a good treat. His foster family are working on putting more weight onto this little man as when we got him he was skinny trying to find what he could to eat.
KwanWoo also really does enjoy wearing clothes & enjoys a great outfit.
KwanWoo has been around many breeds of dogs & he is currently fostered with foster siblings & does absolutely wonderful with them & does need a playmate or even a couple of friends in the home as he does enjoy doggy friendship so this is mandatory.
KwanWoo is roughly 11.2 lbs & 7.5 months old & maybe a schnauzer/poodle mix, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative.
Just to bring KwanWoo into the country was $350 & then we have had him in a daycare around other dogs to make sure he gets along with other dogs & personalities so unfortunately his adoption fee does not even cover the cost it has taken to rescue this little man.
KwanWoo has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their own children & cats before adopting one of our rescues.
We do not know for sure what breed KwanWoo is mixed with & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.
As with all of our rescues & KwanWoo’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is KwanWoo potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.
Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting KwanWoo & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for KwanWoo who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little fellow.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.
KwanWoo has an adoption fee of $775 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.?As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. ?Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding.?WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.?Adoption Process ?All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
