My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jet! I am a 6 year old male black Lab still looking for my home! My owner dumped me on the streets where I have been for a long time and was a husband to many dog wives. I was brought into foster care once I learned to trust my Samaritans. I am VERY SWEET, easy going, gentle and LOVE attention from my female humans. I love walks and walk well on a leash. I am shy and timid with strangers and children. I would love a home with a moderate active middle aged or just recently active, calm, patient, retired couple without breed or weight restrictions. I would enjoy a home that is fenced where my owners can take me for walks and let me hang out with you as you do chores/work in the yard. I will need continued socialization and will do best in a home without any other animals or children. I bond to women faster than men. This is a courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees. You can contact us directly at info@dogdiggityrescue.com, visit our website at www.dogdiggityrescue.com.
