My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sprinkles is a gentle, loving and sweet girl looking for a peaceful place to call home! She is is young and healthy, but she does have a de-formed ear and we feel sad that this might be putting off potential adopters for no good reason. Can you see past that?

She’s a low key kitty with a quiet, raspy meow, and a love of head rubs. There’s an intensely affectionate cat inside her, but she’s timid at first with new spaces and noises..

We think she’d do amazingly in a chill, relaxed home that would patiently allow her
to settle in at her own pace.

Sprinkles was rescued in early February from outdoor life on a very friendly Bed Stuy block where she’s been living as a stray for over a year, and charmed many of her human neighbors. She had a best buddy, Rufus, who has been adopted and now sprinkles is looking for her own lucky break.

We’re not sure what happened, but due to an old injury of some sort Sprinkles has a mangled ear to add to her uniquely beautiful look. The vet assures us there’s nothing at all to worry about.

She’s currently in a very loving foster home in Windsor Terrace and would love you to come a meet here. There are some very cute kids in her foster family that leave her feeling a little nervous so she enjoys the safety of her fancy, purple 3 tier crate that would be available to help her settle in to her new home.
