Polar is a lovely 2yr old American Bulldog/ Terrier blend. She is fully vetted, altered, and microchipped. She weighs 40lbs. Polar is one of the sweetest dogs we have met in a long time, she loves to give kisses!!
Polar plays very well with other dogs and appears to have zero interest in our rescue cat. She loves to be with people. Polar is timid around loud noises and meeting new people at first, after a few minutes and some reassurance that she will be okay she is fine. Polar is crate, leash, and house-trained.
Meet Polar this Lab Terrier blend is a sweetie.. Polar had a family at one time but they were evicted from their place and left Polar behind. Days went by no food... she drank all the water from the toilet. Finally someone came and took her to a high kill shelter where Terrier of any kind, black dogs and seniors are euthanized first..
Polar passed all temperament testing and because of her great personality had the hearts of shelters workers who fought to keep her alive.
Polar has been with us in our rescue for three weeks. She has full use of our office with no accidents or destroying anything. Enjoys playing with our Rescue cat and gets along great with the other dogs at rescue..
Because she is a terrier mix is the ONLY reason she is not in a forever home.
Polar would benefit from a home where consistent training is used. She has to be reminded of her good manners. She has been neglected for so long any kind of attention is positive. Polar has made great improvements in her behavior. She only wants to please.
Polar is spayed and current with her vaccinations heart worm negative an is on a monthly flea and heart worm regiment
