Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scout is a very handsome 11 month old blue heeler. He was surrendered to a shelter down south because he is deaf and his owner didn't know how to train him. His foster mom finds that very hard to believe because Scout is a super smart boy who loves to learn. True to his breed, Scout bonds quickly and tightly to his "person" and then never takes his eyes off you (which makes it very easy to teach him hand signals). He learned loose leash walking on his very first walk around the neighborhood and has already mastered several basic commands. Scout loves to play with other dogs and completely ignores the cat in his foster home. Because of his puppy exuberance and herding tendencies, he would do best in a home without small/young children. Scout is crate-trained, house-trained, neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations. If you would like to fill out an application for Scout, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org.
