Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Erica is a very loving and affectionate cat. She is excited to crawl into your lap and purr! Erica was brought to Twin Pines Veterinary Clinic by a a good samaritan. The person was driving behind a snow plow and as the snow funneled beyond the blade, the cat was seen tumbling with the rolling snow. The person stopped the vehicle and retrieved the cat who was very cold.
Upon arriving to Twin Pines Veterinary Clinic, she was warmed and cared for. Erica has lost the tips of her ears and tail due to frostbite. She also has an injured knee (ACL per x-ray), likely from the snow plow. Dr. Cox will spay Erica next week and will make a decision about her knee at that time. There is a possibility it could require amputation. Erica has received all of her vaccines, worming, will be spayed, and her knee will be attended to prior to adoption.
Erica is estimated to be about 2 years old and is a small cat at only 8 pounds. She loves people and cuddling. She does well with other dogs and cats, but proper animal introductions are always advised.
Twin Pines Veterinary Clinic's Paws for Help Program is looking for a family for Erica where she can be an indoor only cat and a part of a family. If you are interested in Erica, please fill out an interest form at: https://goo.gl/forms/7cFW1UUObY1Q4Lj03
