My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Yuck! After a life of pulling sleds, I’m looking to retire as a snuggly teddy bear – that’s a thing, right?

I love people and warm up to everyone I meet almost immediately, greeting everyone with cuddles and kisses. I’m a big fluffy boy (my foster mom sometimes calls me small bear) but I am very calm and gentle and love to be with people. I also live with one other dog, he’s not too sure he wants to share his mom’s snuggles with me but I think he’s great!

In addition to cuddles and kisses, some of my favourite things include: rolling in the snow, long naps, and peanut butter. I’m a fast learner, it took me no time to figure out this whole living indoors thing. I’m currently learning to walk on leash without pulling and I get better each day. I’m also
starting to enjoy my crate but sometimes I need a treat or two before I agree to go inside. I typically hang out in the crate during working hours but I’m very behaved if left to roam, I’ll just nap by the door until you get home.

I am a bit of a silly boy, I sometimes get excited and walk into glass doors or I slip on the ice if I get too excited. I also really like to check out mirrors – I make a lot of silly faces when I’m happy which makes everyone laugh.

I’ve almost got this whole thing figured out so if you’re looking for a best friend to snuggle and make you laugh- I’m your guy!
