My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE. Oliver has completed his HW treatment, is running and playing with other dogs. He loves to play with humans, will go get a thrown rope toy and then go hide it and wait until you fined it and throw it again. He is completely crate trained and is content in his crate. He has not soiled his crate ever. He loves peanut butter in a hollow marrow bone, especially frozen. He listens good, he seldom barks, is the quietest dog I have ever known.
He is super strong, so needs someone who can handle an 80 lb., 2 year old pup. He is so beautiful, and sweet, and gentle. He will make a great companion for the right person/home.



Oliver is a 2 year old, 70 lb. Great Dane mix. He is a Blue Merle and he is very strong. Oliver needs a home that is familiar with big strong dogs and has the muscle to train, play and walk this big boy.
He is a loving and strong and sweet boy, loves attention, so far he would rather be in than outside. He will do his business outside and then want in.
I have not had him with other dogs yet. He is being treated for heart worms, will soon have the injections, and another week or two and then be ready to recuperate in his new home.
He is very food motivated, will sit for a treat. He pulls on the leash, very strong, so will need some obedience training. I cannot say if he is house trained, because he is in my rescue area, but he is smart and will learn.
He is doing great with his crate training.
