My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey everyone! My name is Rosalyn. I'm a 2-year-old spayed female poodle mix. I weigh about 11 pounds. I'm a sweet, cuddly little nugget who wants nothing more than to sit on your lap all day long! I get along great with people and I love other dogs! I'd make the perfect pup for any family. I love walks, hikes, beach days and more! I'm looking for someone who gives out plenty of pets, hugs and kisses and I'll be happy. Are you the family I've been searching for?

So I bet you're wondering how I ended up here. Well, I was turned into into South Los Angeles shelter as a stray. I was turned in completely matted and I had clearly been neglected for quite awhile. I was so scared that I curled up in the corner hoping for the best. I didn't know what the future held for me, but it wasn't looking good.

I waited patiently in my cage at the pound for a few weeks, until finally, CageFree heard about me and decided to give me a second chance at life. They pulled me out of the shelter and brought me back to their rescue facility, They noticed I had a bump on my belly and took me to a private vet right away, turns out I had a umbilical hernia and needed surgery. the rescue scheduled my surgery for the following week and everything went great with no complications. I'm all healed up and back at CageFree which is where I reside. I'm getting to know my new canine and human friends, and I'm acclimating to my environment nicely. But my journey doesn't end here. I'm in search of my happily ever after with my forever family !
