Adoption Fee: $400


Ellis, is a male Shih Tzu of 2 1/2 yrs old. He is heartworm negative, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and groomed. He is postive for Ehrlichia which is a tick born disease, not contagious and treated with doxycycline. He has already started this medication and if not finished at adoption time, rescue will provide the remaining medication. He has also been on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks.

Ellis comes to us from Texas. He was a stray the Animal Control picked up and never claimed and has turned out to be a GREAT pet, he is so good with everyone.

He is happy, healthy, easy going and loves to play with other dogs. He is with about 6 others and will play non stop if allowed. He will have one or two accidents while playing & getting excited but not often. He walks well on leash and loves everyone. He is very good with kids (we have a 4 yr old grandson and they did great together)
