Meet Lady! She is guessed to be about 3 years old and weighs around 8,5 lbs. She absolutely loves to play with toys and with other dogs. Her second favorite thing- to do the "poodle wave" where she stands on her hind legs and waves her front paws in the air. Her ideal home would be an adopter who would play with her and even take her to classes like obedience, agility, nosework- any of the dogs sports we think she would really do well with that. A home with another dog can work, but the dog would need to be tolerant of her relentless attempt at playing and would need to be able to share toys. She is doing well with her housetraining- she will go outside, but we have also seen her use pee pads. In new situations and with new people she can get nervous with handling and can get snippy, therefore we don't think she would be a good fit for a family with children who are not dog savvy. Lady will need daily brushing and routine grooming to keep her coat nice and tangle free (usually 6-8 weeks). Lady's adoption donation of $350 helps cover the cost of her medical care.
